It came as a bit of a shock this week to hear that the Vintage in Scranton, the home base for the NEPWC and the setting for our Third Thursday Open Mic Poetry Nights, will be closing at the end of August. The group will go on and the show will go on, just in a different location still to be determined. But we're not done at the Vintage yet: there are several events to go, including one last Third Thursday Open Mic Poetry Night. KK has even set up a feature, Justin Rowles. We're thinking there may be a big turnout with a lot of people wanting to perform at the Vintage one last time, so be prepared for a long, emotional, poetry-packed night!
